Manas Kathuria

Clinic Owner / Registered Physiotherapist

Manas Kathuria received his degree in Physiotherapy in 2008. Since then, he has been certified in Acupuncture, Spinal Manipulation Therapy and in Functional Dry Needling Techniques. Following his tenure at the HNB University, he successfully earned a 2-year Diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion in Toronto. He is also a provider for the “Shift Concussion Team” and runs a Concussion Management Program.

His desire to practice as a Sports Rehab Specialist has led him to work in various Sports Physiotherapy clinics in Calgary and Toronto. Manas is an extremely competent physiotherapist with 10 years of experience working in various clinics in Calgary and Toronto. Now he has his heart set in the city of Edmonton and feels proud to serve the it’s communities.

He is a proud member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association and has been actively involved in teaching recently qualified physiotherapist assistants. He embraces a comprehensive approach to healthcare and is committed to providing high-quality, evidence-informed, patient-centered care to facilitate improved performance and to achieve optimal wellness.

Aman Hansra

Aman Hansra

Clinic Owner / Registered Physiotherapist

Born and raised in Fort McMurray, Aman played basketball, rep soccer and swam for the Mantas swim club. After graduating from Westwood Community High School, he moved to England, where he obtained his BSc in Physical Therapy from the University of Salford in 2012 and MSc in Sports Therapy from Leeds Beckett University in 2014. Aman’s passion for Physical Therapy arose from a curiosity in healing sports injuries and treating individuals with chronic shoulder and back pain.

While at the University of Salfor, Aman was a member of the University basketball team, and during his MSc, he was involved with the medical assessment and rehabilitation of varsity athletes at the Leeds Becket Sports Injury Clinic.

Upon graduating, Aman worked as the Physical Therapist of Wrexham Football Club in the United Kingdom. Through this role, he was responsible for the medical treatment, injury rehabilitation and injury prevention strategies for the first team (which hosted numerous ex premiership players), reserve team and youth team players for Wrexham FC. His work with Wrexham FC lead to two Wembley trips and an FA Trophy win. In 2016, Aman relocated to Edmonton to be closer to family and to assist patients with skills that he learned through his education and work experience. In his spare time, he continues to both play both basketball and soccer.


Carrie Tam

Registered Physiotherapist

Carrie graduated from the University of Alberta with a Masters degree in Physical Therapy in 2010 and holds a Bachelor of Human Kinetics degree from the University of British Columbia.

Carrie has an extensive history of being a team trainer for various sports teams, which is what led her to a career in physiotherapy. She has additional training in manual therapy and Women’s Health physiotherapy. She completed the Certificate of Anatomical Acupuncture with the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute, and is certified to perform acupuncture.

In her spare time, Carrie is kept busy by her two energetic children and her crazy dog.

Kim Giles

Registered Massage Therapist

Born in the Yukon and raised in Fort McMurray, Kim is a former co-owner of a kickboxing gym where she first began her interest in fitness and the human body and it’s ability to heal with natural processes.

Graduating from Makami college’s 3000-hour advanced clinical therapy program, Kim is passionate about helping her clients receive the treatments they need to achieve a pain free life.

Whether it’s relaxation you are seeking, or a deeper therapeutic massage, Kim has vast experience in both and will customize your massage to your body’s needs. She has a uniquely compassionate approach to her therapy and clients and the ability to carefully listen to your needs, is able to form a treatment plan for each individual and help you achieve your goals for each massage session.

She is a mother of three and enjoys spare time spent with them and her family, as well as volunteering for their various sports teams.

She is also certified in and performs TMJ massage and pre-/post-natal massage.

Chang Shih

Registered Acupuncturist

Chang has recently joined our team in early 2019, and we very excited to have him on board.

Chang has always played basketball, tennis, and numerous other sports; he has first-hand experience in how quickly and effectively Chinese medical acupuncture helped him recover from various sports injuries such as sprains, strains, and tendinitis.
It was the natural choice to follow his roots to study Chinese Medicine. Chang also uniquely understands the negative impact that modern day life stress can have on our physical health, as he had spent over a decade working as an air traffic controller. It is with this passion that he now practices Traditional Chinese Medical acupuncture, helping people rediscover their health and well-being.
