Zoravar (Zoro) Sidhu
Registered Physiotherapist
Qualifications
- BA in Clinical Kinesiology (Western University)
- MSc. Physical Therapy (University of Alberta)
Growing up in Fort McMurray, Alberta, Zoro was exposed early to the realities of injury and recovery. Watching family members work through pain — and spending time alongside his older cousin, a physiotherapist — sparked his interest in a career focused on helping people move better and feel stronger. While medical school briefly crossed his mind, he quickly realized physiotherapy offered the perfect mix of science, problem-solving, and meaningful human connection (with a much shorter timeline).
Zoro completed his Bachelor of Arts in Clinical Kinesiology at Western University before earning his Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta. He began working as a therapy assistant in 2015 and has been part of the Aspire Physiotherapy team since 2019, where he now practices as a registered physiotherapist.
Zoro enjoys working with athletes, gym-goers, desk workers, and individuals dealing with jaw and TMJ concerns. He has a strong interest in treating shoulder, neck, and back pain, as well as neurological conditions. His approach blends hands-on treatment with purposeful movement and clear education — because understanding what’s going on in your body makes rehab a lot less intimidating. He often compares rehab to the stock market: there may be ups and downs along the way, but with consistency, the long-term trend is always up.
Outside the clinic, Zoro can usually be found playing or watching basketball, working out, hiking, checking out comedy shows, or searching for good music — all fueled by a highly committed caffeine addiction. In the clinic, his goal is simple: help you feel better, move with confidence again, and leave each session feeling like you just spent time with someone who genuinely has your back (and your shoulders, neck, and jaw).
If you’re looking for confident, encouraging physiotherapy with a relaxed, human approach, Zoro would be happy to work with you.
