First things first, I wanted to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from myself and the rest of the Aspire Team!
The holidays looked a little different for us this year. One thing that didn’t change was how fast they went by… I swear I took a nap after turkey dinner and woke up at work haha.
The transition from holiday mode to work mode can be a difficult one. But I have a few tricks to make it a little easier.
Click the titles below to see my favorite work-at-home gadgets that saved my back and neck:
1. Dual Screen Monitors – Laptops are only meant to be used for 30 mins, any longer can mess with your posture and create pain. Hooking your laptop up to dual screen or single screen monitors are a great option to reduce stress on your neck and back!
2. Wireless Keyboard – This helped me tailor my workspace to what was most comfortable and ergonomic. An improperly set keyboard can lead to a carpal tunnel injury, and let me tell you… it’s not fun.
3. Multi – USB – This gadget can be used to link your laptop to your screen and wireless keyboard!
4. Plugable Thunderbolt – If you choose a dual screen monitor, I would recommend this multi-port system, it has enough plugins to run a starship! Plus it makes set-up super easy.
Now that you have all the cool gadgets, make sure your workspace is set up in a posture-friendly way using this easy how-to guide.
Happy New Years!
